The Department of Theology and Religious Studies at the Faculty of Humanities offers studies in theology and religious studies at bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels. Theology and Religious Studies offer a high-quality humanities education, providing a deeper understanding of religion in a cultural context. The studies are student-centred and serve not only the intellectual but also the spiritual growth of the individual. It provides a basic understanding of the beliefs, history, scriptures, practices and role of Christianity and various other religions (Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, etc.) in contemporary society. It also provides the opportunity to acquire skills in the study of religious developments. At all levels, students are offered ample opportunities to participate in the Erasmus+ international student exchange programme, and to apply for government or patrons' scholarships.
