Erasmus+ internship

The students of the Faculty of Humanities can apply for Erasmus+ internship. A student, finding the internship in one of the enterprises abroad (Erasmus zone countries only), can get a scholarship from the University of Latvia.

The application procedure:

1. A student should find a place for his/her internship. However, before that a student should discuss the internship with the director of the programme (how the internship can be included into the programme).
2. A student should get an acceptance letter that confirms the readiness of an enterprise to accept the student for the period of the internship.
3. A student should contact the international coordinator, Margarita Spirida, e-mail: margarita.spirida@lu.lv for the application details and deadlines

• Erasmus+ internship lasts for 2-5 months.
• Internship can take place in all EU countries (with the exception of Latvia), as well as in Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Turkey.
• Internship can take place in private or state institutions or research centres. The internship cannot take place in EU-related institutions or embassies.
• A student should not be on a break, or have any study or financial debts.
